Nursing staff and doctors may be approached in confidence at any time should you ever have cause for complaint, whether about your medical treatment or accommodation.
If you prefer to engage a ‘neutral’ person to act on your behalf voluntary patients’ mediators are available.
They will be happy to listen to your recommendations as well as comments or complaints and then forward them to the people in charge. It goes without saying that such matters are dealt with in strict confidentiality.
The three mediators are:
- Sylvia Bairlein
- Christa Hottenrott
- Tine Bulthuis
The mediators have been elected by the city council and are thus independent of the University Hospital.
They can be contacted between 10 and 11 am in Building 10 A, 1st floor, room 136, every Tuesday and Thursday. At other times, you can leave a message on the answering machine. Telephone 54 57. You will be called back as soon as possible.
